HiI'm new here so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I keep reading on the site how I can use the GPS tracking software on Android. I can't find the appropriate media. Any other Android users out there? Thanks.
I have to say, seeing how awesome PocketReperion looks, it's a real tease to read this over here:
Download PocketReperion for your device ( WM2003 / WM2005 / HW65xx , HW69xx , Smartphone SPV, Symbian, Linux, Android, Nokia)
Only to spend hours trying to find this mysterious Android media and getting nowhere. Does anyone even check this message board?
Sorry it's a bit of Holidays, the android software can be obtained from the TuXloCator group I believe. It's open source *nix code and must be adapted.
Would the code interest you ?
SOrry to keep you waiting !
Hello,
Thanks for your reply! I'm excited that code exists for Android. Unfortunately, I'm nowhere near knowledgable enough to know how to adapt it. Hopefully a version will one day be released for the typical user. Keep up the good work!
You'll be the first to know and we will send you a BETA version asap.
That is, as soon as we got one for Android that is userfriendly.
Wonderful. I will keep checking back at this thread.
Many Thanks,
If anyone , by any chance, know a developer who can port our Perl,PHP (see the TuxLocator group) client to android, please come forward.
